What we deliver to Birtley
Birtley sits between Gateshead and Chester-le-Street — mix of old-estate replacements (60s and 70s housing) and new-build trade supply. Vigo and Eighton Banks have steeper streets where stepped fencing is common. Gate posts and short closeboard runs for the older Birtley terraces are regular.
Delivering fencing to Birtley: local notes
Heavy clay soil in pockets around Lamesley and Ouston — rapid-set post mix is essential. Hilly streets mean we'll often step a fence rather than rake it.

Will your truck get up the steep Birtley and Eighton Banks streets?
Yes — we use smaller tippers for any street where a full-size can't turn.
