What does a whole fence cost?
With the prices above, the materials for a 6ft closeboard fence (boards with a small gap, 4x4 posts every 1.8m, three rails and two bags of post mix per post) come to roughly £33 to £37 a metre. A 4ft fence is nearer £25 a metre. For your exact length, use the fence calculator: it counts every part and adds the lot to your basket.

Delivered to your address from the next working day, Monday to Friday, across Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, North and South Tyneside and Northumberland.
